IP Address
An IP address is an unique identifier for a computer or device on a TCP/IP network.
Networks using the TCP/IP protocol route messages using the packets destination IP
address. IP addresses use a 32-bit numeric format written as four numbers separated
by periods. The valid range of each number is zero to 255. An example of a valid
IP address is 64.31.30.22
